Jakobus, wir dich grüßen als unsern Schutzpatron,

Der Herr hat dich berufen zu der Apostel Zahl,

Von Gotteseifer brannte dein Herz bis auf den Grund.
Donnersohn dich nannte dafür des Meisters Mund.
